A Bluegrass Jamming Primer by D. Comins

Here are some notes on bluegrass jamming that I wrote for the N Y C Bluegrass Slow Jam in

2009. Included are notes on keys, chord numbering, the differences between bluegrass and "old-time"

music and jams, sources for instruments, instructional books and DVDs, local festivals and event calendars

- as well as a few notes on etiquette.

It may be of interest to advanced pickers either new to bluegrass or new to jamming.
